NAS Lemoore is the Base for the Navy’s newest Stealth Fighter, the Carrier Variant F35C Lighting II. With the arrival of the F35C, support facilities were required and one of the first built was the F35C Centralized Engine Repair Facility “F35C-CERF.” L&H Airco was selected and contracted directly with the General Contractor on this design-assist project to ensure all trades incorporated equipment compatible with the Alerton BACnet Building Management System. In the design phase, L&H Airco partnered with the General Contractor to coordinate specifically with the mechanical and electrical teams to ensure the engineered submittal received swift and complete approval by NAVFAC. The Hangar modification project included two separate support buildings to house operations staff and maintenance equipment storage. As a result, this high-profile, fast-track project was successfully completed and commissioned in time for the F-35C squadron to occupy and prepare for deployment.
